I'm long time native of Northern Virginia.  In the late 90's I left my job with the Department of Navy to stay home and help raise three boys.  During that wonderful time I kicked up my love for photography and started my business in 2008.  I spent 20+ years as a dedicated Boy Scout Leader while also enjoying working as a High School, Rec, and Travel Soccer Official.  When not busy shooting, refferee-ing, or scouting you can find me with my lovely wife Laura, traveling with our dog in our cool converted van.  Visit our vanlife build @vanzeladamz on instagram and my portrait gallery @danglassphoto.

My tastes for photography are wide but in the end I simply like to make people look good and create lasting memories. From rock to corporate I love the portrait and am especially drawn to high school seniors, corporate photography, band and athlete portraiture, and creating beautiful digital composite images.  I also relish the opportunity to shoot sports I love.

I am a long time supporter and volunteer of Scouting as I believe in the program.  I have seen what it does for many young men and now ladies too. In 2023 I had the opportunity to be a Staff Photographer for the National Jamboree and felt it was one of the best experiences of my life.
